Widgets
Keep your notes and tasks on the Home Screen, the Lock Screen and StandBy, and start a new note with one tap.
The widgets
- Notes — small, medium, large, and extra large on iPad. Notes from all your notebooks, from one notebook, or from one tag.
- Tasks — small, medium and large. Your open tasks, soonest first. The large size groups them into Overdue, Today and Later, like the Tasks list; a task whose time has passed today stays under Today, with its time in red.
- Quick Capture — small and medium. Buttons for New Note, Scan, Photo and Task.
- Pinned Note — small, medium and large. One note you choose, and its beginning.
- Tasks for the Lock Screen and StandBy — circular, rectangular and inline. A count of your tasks, or the next task.
Use and set up a widget
Tap a row in a widget to open that note; tap the widget's header to open the list.
To choose what a widget shows — the notebook or tag of a Notes widget, or the note of a Pinned Note widget — touch and hold the widget and choose Edit Widget.
A widget shows only whole rows. With a larger text size you see fewer notes, never one cut in half.
Widgets speak the language you chose in NotaBene, even when your iPhone or iPad is set to another one. When you change the language in NotaBene, the widgets change with it.
