Move from Evernote
Bring your notes over from Evernote, with their formatting, tags, attachments and tasks.
NotaBene imports the .enex file that Evernote exports.
- In Evernote, export the notes you want to bring over as an
.enexfile. - In NotaBene, open Settings ▸ Import & Export.
- Import the
.enexfile.
What comes across:
- the text of each note, with its formatting;
- its tags;
- its attachments;
- its tasks;
- its checkboxes, ticked as they were.
To open Settings, choose NotaBene ▸ Settings… or press ⌘,.
To open Settings, tap the gear in the navigation bar.
What will feel familiar
Much of NotaBene is laid out the way you know it from Evernote: notebooks can be gathered into stacks, tags sit in the sidebar, and the notes, notebooks, tags and saved searches you reach for every day can go into Shortcuts near the top of the sidebar.
Note: NotaBene does not export to
.enex. When you take your notes out, they go out as Markdown files with their attachments, which other notes apps can read.See Also: Notebooks and stacks · Tags · Shortcuts · Your data: export and print
