Your day on one page

Home gathers today's meetings, the free time between them, your tasks, flagged mail and recent work on one page.

Home is the first row of the sidebar. It fills the whole window beside the sidebar.

Home is the first tile on the first screen. Tap it to open it.

It opens with a greeting for the time of day — Good morning, Good afternoon or Good evening — with today's date (in the window's title on the Mac, over the greeting on the iPhone and iPad).

Under it, a line of numbers — meetings left today, free time left, tasks due today, late tasks, mail to handle. Each one takes you to its section.

  1. Next 7 Days shows a tile for each day, with a dot for each meeting in its calendar's colour, its tasks and, on a working day, a bar of the working hours with the free parts in green. Pick a tile to see that day below.
  2. Today lists the day's meetings in order, the free blocks of an hour or more between them, and a red line for now. Each meeting is in its calendar's colour. Under a meeting are its notes, each in its notebook's colour — or New Note and Record while it is still to come.
  3. Tasks shows what is left from earlier days and what is due today, as one list. Late tasks are red, and each says which notebook it is in.
  4. Mail shows the flagged messages you still have to deal with.
  5. Pinned shows your pinned notes as tiles, the same as at the top of the note list.

Click or tap a meeting to open it in Calendar on its day, a task or a pinned note to open it in its note, a message to open it in Mail.

Note: The working hours the free time is counted in are 06:00–16:00 until you change them in Settings ▸ Home.
